Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau affecting Perry, Alexander, Cape Girardeau, Union, Scott and Jackson Counties. .Recent rainfall has slowed the fall of the Mississippi River. Cape Girardeau is forecast to slowly rise, while Hickman is forecast to remain in flood until Tuesday morning. Thebes will fall below flood stage but may rise again as more heavy rain approaches.
