Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued May 22 at 10:02AM CDT until May 22 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 284 IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN ARKANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS CRAWFORD IN WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS FRANKLIN SEBASTIAN IN OKLAHOMA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 7 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA SEQUOYAH IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CHOCTAW HASKELL LATIMER LE FLORE PITTSBURG PUSHMATAHA THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ANTLERS, CHARLESTON, CLAYTON, FORT SMITH, HUGO, MCALESTER, OZARK, POTEAU, SALLISAW, STIGLER, VAN BUREN, AND WILBURTON.

Flood Watch issued May 22 at 1:16PM CDT until May 23 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Crawford, Franklin and Sebastian and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Pittsburg, Pushmataha and Sequoyah. * WHEN...Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall today through this afternoon may result in areas of flash flooding.
