Coastal waters from Baffin Bay to Port Aransas out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel out 20 NM... Copano, Aransas, and Redfish Bays... Corpus Christi and Nueces Bays... At 1117 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 nm southwest of Downtown Corpus Christi, or 18 nm southwest of Portland, moving northeast at 40 knots. Hail of 1" or larger will impact Baffin Bay and the waterways from Corpus Christi Bay to Baffin Bay within the next 60 minutes. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Large hail could result in structural damage. Locations impacted include... Riviera Beach, Flour Bluff, Packery Channel, Portland, Corpus Christi North Beach, Corpus Christi Naval Air Station, Port Aransas, Ingleside On The Bay, Downtown Corpus Christi, and Malaquite Beach.
